A clean constituency is a healthy constituency. Our monthly campaigns unite residents to tackle dumpsites, clear waterways, and build a culture of environmental pride in Hunyani.
Monthly Ward Cleanups
Every last Saturday — teams organised by street, tools and bags provided. 2,000+ residents participate monthly.
River & Drainage Cleanup
Quarterly riverbank and stormwater channel clearing. Partnership with EMA Zimbabwe for hazardous waste disposal.
Tree Planting Initiative
Annual campaign with Forestry Commission. 3,000 trees planted since 2023 along roads, in schools, and community spaces.
Recycling Awareness Drive
5 recycling collection points established. Working with local recyclers to create income from waste materials.
School Environment Programme
Eco-clubs, school gardens, and waste management in all 8 primary schools. Teaching stewardship to the next generation.
Dumpsite Rehabilitation
5 illegal dumpsites cleared and converted into community garden spaces — eliminating disease breeding grounds.
